2 Wired 2 Tired - Star Rock for Kids - CD Review

Star Rock For Kids is a new CD of fun music to jam to! With the nice warm weather and the car windows down, who doesn?t want to rock out to some great tunes?!

The CD is a compilation of hits from the decades sung by kids aged 7 to 17 with fresh vocals! Our favorites on the CD include a new version of Natalie Cole?s ?L-O-V-E? and also a new version of ?Glamorous? by Fergie. The kids also liked ?Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy?.?I liked that the CD simply puts the kids who are singing the songs? first name as the singers. My kids liked this CD as much as they like their other favorite CDs like?KidsBop!

The CD was produced by an experienced vocal coach, Lisa Damiani, who has previously won Star Search as the Best Teen Vocalist. One of the most exciting things about the CD is that there is?an appplication?inside that lets the kids submit their own?two minute vocal recording demo to showcase their own talent?privately for a chance to be on a new CD!

eOne Music is paving the way to a new kind of Star Search or American Idol by permitting kids to submit music without the fear of judgement and harsh criticism. We loved not only the entire concept of the kids? music being submitted, but also the young great voices renewing older songs. This CD is a hit at our house? or should I say in the car- because that?s where we spend the most time listening to it!
